Activites
To be a learner in anything, you need to be curious.
Learning through play
At Cwtch Fairwater, the staff play a supporting role in enhancing the children's free play. We have created an environment where children feel safe and able to explore at their own pace, making their nursery experience a truly individual one.
Circle time
At Cwtch Fairwater we follow the children's lead and spend our circle time exploring and enhancing our skills through singing, stories and games!
Sensory play
Cwtch Fairwater encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity. It helps to build nerve connections in the brain and encourages the development of language and motor skills. We encourage the children to engage in many types of sensory activities such as light play, messy play, music, trinket boxes and much more!
Creative play
We encourage your children to embrace the mess and grow comfortable engaging in new experiences. By being given the freedom to play with things that make a ‘mess’ children are given no expectations on what they should produce and can fully engage in the process of creating.
Outdoor play
Outdoor play is an integral part of a child's learning opportunities, it benefits children's mental and physical health and wellbeing. We are thrilled to host a setting with heaps of outdoor space allowing children to connect with nature and explore their natural environment and the world around them. The children enjoy exercising their physical development, helping tend to our plants and vegetables and taking regular trips around our local area. We believe there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing.
Sleep time
Sleep is an essential part of a child's development. At Cwtch Fairwater we ensure that your child has a comfortable nap in a serene and hygge environment to recharge ready to tackle the activities for the day ahead!
History will judge us by the difference we make in the everyday lives of children.
