A Child's Day
Children are great imitators, so give them something great to imitate
With our 5 Philosophy Principles we respect that each child is unique and we encourage our settings to allow a child’s journey to develop naturally. Children are busy with their hands, feet, head, and heart when playing ~ this is when they learn best.
No day will be the same at our settings with children allowed to develop their own activities and lead the adults! However, our team provide enhanced activities which focus on key areas of learning and exploration.
Each setting develops their own daily routines with the children, incorporating the Foundation Phase and latest learning and play philosophies.
Circle Time with Songs and Stories
We will always have a time for songs and stories! Our settings will often do this throughout the day, allowing children to pick the stories they wish to read and choose a song or two!
Each day always starts with a smile and catch up with your child and a member of our team. We want to know what your child’s interests might have been that day or what adventures they have been on away from nursery!
Snacks and Meals
We offer a ‘rolling snack’ to children, this allows children to access healthy drinks and snacks. However, our team will encourage any children who might not get their daily dose of goodness and ensure they remain hydrated to get busy with their play.
Free Play
Children are encouraged to explore and play throughout the day, usually child led but with the enhanced activities of our team.
The Great Outdoors
Whatever the weather, come rain or shine children are encouraged to explore the outside space, giving them plenty of time to develop, physical skills. It is not the unsuitable weather that determines our outdoor play but the sustainability of the clothes that we are wearing – so make sure to bring your wellies and waterproofs.
Can’t recommend this nursery enough! My daughter has come on leaps and bounds. Such lovely staff, so friendly, and always there to help no matter what the need is. Going to miss the nursery and staff so much. Always felt at ease leaving my daughter for each session
History will judge us by the difference we make in the everyday lives of children.
